Ofsted
We are delighted that Ofsted has rated our school as ‘outstanding’ in all categories including the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management and early years provision in our latest inspection in 2025.
Ofsted inspectors praised our school, highlighting that pupils “flourish in this nurturing, happy school”, with pupils throughout the school feeling “understood, safe and valued.”
Complementing the school further, inspectors said: “High expectations are the norm [at Warlingham]. Most pupils achieve exceptionally well. Pupils are captivated by their learning. Their behaviour in lessons is exemplary as they soak up the rich experiences and information that is expertly presented to them.”
Ofsted also highlighted the school’s “ambitious and engaging” curriculum, and teachers’ “strong subject knowledge”. Inspectors praised staff and governors, saying they are “rightly proud to be part of this inspirational school”.
Anna Arnett, Headteacher here at Warlingham Village Primary, also attended the school as a child from the age of four. She returned for work experience, and again to train as a teacher, before moving up through the school to become Headteacher.
She commented: “It’s an amazing achievement for our school to be rated as ‘outstanding’ in every category, and I would like to thank the school and trust staff, our pupils and parents and carers for all their hard work and support in making this a reality.
“I’d like to reassure our parents and wider community that our work to create a top school continues all year round - we remain committed to continuous improvement.
“I look forward to continuing to work with our staff at Warlingham to advance to future successes.”
