Remembrance at our school

There was a wonderful display of hand-made poppies at our school to mark Remembrance Day this week.

Each pupil at our school made a lovely contribution to the gallery that was put on the school gates on Wednesday so the wider community could see the results our inspired children produced.

We were also able to take part in online class assemblies which were followed by the two minute silence held each year on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.

Our commemorations were a little different this year, due to the pandemic, as we would normally have taken part in the Warlingham Remembrance Day Parade before laying a wreath at the Memorial on Warlingham Green. 

We hope to be able to join the wider school community for next year’s events.
